On July 29, 2017, Trey and I
finally tied the knot! When planning a wedding, there are so many details to think about from the larger decisions like the venue all the way down to the smaller details like the guest book.
We chose The Historic Drish House for our venue for both the ceremony and reception. The openness and natural light won us over from the very beginning. The Drish House is a blank canvas and therefore, possibilities are endless! Trey and I could not have done it without our coordinator, Vikki Grodner. Vikki truly made the wedding experience easy and stressfree from start to finish.
The easiest decision made was choosing our photographer. For us, it was a no-brainer, Megan Kennedy was our must-have photographer. Her work is consistently beautiful and I knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding from the start.
Not to brag but… we have a pretty talented family! Trey’s mom did our floral arrangements, my cousins catered the reception (and helped with lots of other details) and one of my cousins did mine and my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup.
There are a ton of pictures to share so I am splitting them up over several posts. All photos in this post were taken by Megan Kennedy Photography.
We used Mixbook to create and print our guest book. The editor tool is easy to use and 100% customizable. You can choose a premade design, make changes to a premade design or start from scratch. I’ve already started a few more photo books and picked out our Christmas card for this year.
